Dubnový update letošního ročníku Brutal Assaultu je tady! Josefovská pevnost přivítá další jména, jako jsou ABBATH, MOONSORROW, GRAVE, JACK THE STRIPPER nebo WOLFBRIGADE.

Fanoušci, kteří volali po ortodoxnějších kapelách, dostanou porci black metalu v čele s ABBATHEM, nepřehlédnutelnou postavou norské black metalové scény, která se vydala na sólovou dráhu. Krvavý black metalový rituál přivezou i trefně pojmenovaní Němci DARKENED NOCTURN SLAUGHTERCULT. Vyznavači pohanských kultů se zas mohou těšit na koncert pagan metalových veteránů MOONSORROW.

Na své si přijdou také fanoušci řízného thrashe, ať už v podání německých DUST BOLT nebo finských LOST SOCIETY. Pro ortodoxní vyznavače death metalu máme polské rouhače EMBRIONAL. Švédsko pro změnu kontruje melodic death / doomovými OCTOBER TIDE nebo původci lycanthro punku WOLFBRIGADE.

Fanoušci moderního metalu se mohou těšit na mladou australskou kapelu JACK THE STRIPPER, která ve své hudbě míchá metalcore s mathcorovými prvky. Potemnělý neo folk přiveze americký písničkář KING DUDE.

Abbath

Nemilá zpráva na závěr, sestavu opouští NILE, nicméně se nám za ně podařilo potvrdit hned dvojici významných death metalových kapel, a to kmotry švédského kovu smrti GRAVE a vracející se brazilské rohatce REBEALLIUN, kteří měli na přelomu milénia našlápnuto na pozici nejlepší death metalové kapely v Jižní Americe.

OCTOBER TIDE premiere new song “Swarm”

October Tide - Winged WaltzSweden’s melodic death/doom metallers OCTOBER TIDE have revealed a third new song in anticipation of their new album “Winged Waltz”, which is set to be released onApril 22nd via Agonia Records. Titled “Swarm”, the song is available for streaming via Bandcamp, at:

The band has announced a European tour in support of the album, which will take place this fall, together with label-mates Demonical acting as co-headliner. Full list of shows is available below.

Alexander Högbom (vocals) commented on “Winged Waltz”: “This is undoubtedly the best and most emotionally charged material October Tide has created, in my opinion. I know how much hard work Fredrik (guitars) has put into making this album and you can really feel the thought behind it all. I almost injured myself physically and was close to pass out a couple of times during the recording of the vocals. I gave it all to match the intense music and those powerful lyrics and I’m very happy with the result”.

The successor to “Tunnel Of No Light” (2013) has been recorded, mixed and mastered in Wing Studios (Demonical, Centinex, Diabolical) in Sweden and produced by Sverker Widgren.

Formed in 1995 by Katatonia members, Jonas Renkse and Fred Norrman,OCTOBER TIDE spawned two, now-cult releases: “Rain Without End” (1997) and“Grey Dawn” (1999), before going on hiatus for over 11 years. Reunited in 2009, and since 2015 with a new full-time drummer Jocke Wallgren (Valkyrja, Astrophobos), the Swedes continue to push their vision of melodic death/doom metal to the next level. Executed with passion, the band’s new album “Winged Waltz” is a showcase of what talent and expertise can bring to the table. OCTOBER TIDE are well-seasoned in their field of metal and are coming back in full swing, with their most emotionally charged material yet.

Acclaimed melodic Doom/Death Metal experts, OCTOBER TIDE, have announced details regarding their forthcoming 5th studio album, titled “Winged Waltz”. Set to be released on April 22nd via Agonia Records, the record will feature eight brand new tracks and cover artwork prepared by Albin Högbom.

OCTOBER TIDE sign with Agonia Records and begin working on new album

Swedish melodic Doom/Death metallers, OCTOBER TIDE, have inked a record deal with Agonia Records. The band’s as-yet-untitled new album, successor to “Tunnel Of No Light” (2013), is currently at the pre-production stage and is expected to be released in early 2016.

Formed in 1995 by Katatonia members, Jonas Renkse and Fred Norrman,OCTOBER TIDE spawned two, now-cult releases: “Rain Without End” (1997) and“Grey Dawn” (1999), before going on hiatus for over 11 years.

Reunited in 2009, the Swedes continue to push their vision of characteristic melodic doom/death metal to the next level. With a new full-time drummer Jocke Wallgren (Valkyrja, Astrophobos), OCTOBER TIDE are fully engaged in working on their 5th studio album and first one for Agonia.

On the new deal and forthcoming effort, Emil Alstermark (guitars) commented:“During the first glance at this label you KNOW they are into metal. We have always had an good eye to Agonia Records and their great ways of spreading heavy sounds all over the world. As for the deal itself we are very pleased with the terms and conditions which are some serious shit. Agonia is a killer label and a perfect partner to October Tide. We’re now finishing up the pre-production and hope to share some pretty cool stuff with you all within a near future. Stay tuned – stay doomed!“
