Nové miesto konania Gothoom festivalu je známe

Po minuloročných naťahovačkách s odporcami festivalu v Novej Bani, doterajšom domove Gothoomu, sa organizátor festivalu rozhodol zmeniť miesto konania. Festival sa so svojou šiestou edíciou ale neposunie ďaleko. Nové mesto je v dedinke Ostrý Grúň na úpätí Kľakovskej doliny. Tá je vzdialená asi 20 km od Novej Bane. Areál festivalu sa bude nachádzať na mieste zvanom Chata Kollárová. Počet návštevníkov bude limitováný na 1300.

Medzi účinkujúcimi nebudú chýbať INSOMNIUM, CRYPTOPSY, AGALLOCH, BROKEN HOPE, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ROTTEN SOUND, LOUDBLAST, OBSCURE SPHINX, DORDEDUH rovnako ako najlepší zástupcovia českej a slovenskej scény ČAD, BRUTE, SUBURBAN TERRORIST, CONTRASTIC, DOOMAS, TORTHARRY a mnohí ďalší. Lístky sú stále v predaji na stŕánkach festivalu www.gothoom.com/festival/.

OUTRE STREAM GRAND FINALE OF DEBUT ALBUM GHOST CHANTS

Polish black metal ensemble OUTRE are proud to unveil the closing track from their much-anticipated first album. Featuring the tortured throat of Stawrogin as a session vocalist, the song masterfully rounds out the album’s thirty-five minute duration with majestic confidence, unfolding from ambience and swelling chords into a turbulent blend of blast beats and unsettling guitar melodies. Mgła’s M. has done a stellar job in the production, perfectly capturing the record’s dark and eerie tone.

NCS comment on the track, saying: “Arrival” is black metal, but enfolded within the music are elements of doom, death, and sludge, as well as the kind of avant-garde air that may put you in mind of Deathspell Omega. It’s as interesting as it is potent, and a fine precursor to an album that will be well worth hearing in its entirety.

Antigama: Reveals new album details

Polish extreme grindcore/experimental outfit ANTIGAMA has revealed more details about their upcoming new album “The Insolent” which will be out in May 2015 by SELFMADEGOD RECORDS worldwide.

The new album has been recorded and mixed in January and February 2015 in Warsaw’s JNS Studio by Paweł Grabowski and ANTIGAMA. The mastering was done by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Agoraphobic Nosebleed) at Visceral Sound, Bethesda, MD.

The new record brings 10 tracks of unorthodox, fast forward-thinking grindcore metal. Some titles are “Reward or Punishment”, “Foul Play”, “Out Beyond”, “The Land of Monotony”. The album features a very special guest appearance of the legend of Polish electronic music scene Władysław “Gudonis” Komendarek

“The Insolent” will be available as limited CD, LP, MC and digital download. The official release date is set for May 7th 2015.
